Creating a real buzz for the festive season

Protecting and enhancing the environments in which we operate is one of the major goals in our Now and Next Sustainability Strategy. By 2025 we will launch 100 biodiversity projects across Europe and North America, including a growing number of site-led initiatives.

Bees in the urban environment

Bees and pollinators face many threats from climate change, loss of forage, the use of pesticides and pests and diseases, and are crucial for the preservation of ecological balance and biodiversity in the environment. They provide one of the most recognisable ecosystem services, pollination, which is what makes food production possible. Consequently, they protect and maintain ecosystems as well as animal and plant species and contribute to genetic and biotic diversity.

Supporting biodiversity initiatives

With this is mind, each of our network of paper mills have donated money this festive season to notable bee charities across Europe, to support our biodiversity initiatives across Europe.

Beneficiaries include:

Our donations will not only provide educational support but will benefit the environment and we are delighted to support their initiatives over this festive season.
