Tooling

All of the expanded polypropylene parts we supply for packaging and component parts are born from a mould tool which is normally CNC’d from a solid block of aluminium.

The lead-time on a tool varies due to complexity and can take anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks. Tooling quotes are sourced internationally so you get the best value for money.

Once the tool is delivered, we ensure that consistent quality is our top priority by running a production trial and sample first off parts to ensure we have the best machine settings for your final production run.

If your tool needs branding or part numbers, we can add plates to the tool that will bevel or emboss a logo and characters.

To increase the life of your tool we store, clean and carry out any minor repairs in house. Tool modifications, refurbishments and replacements are all chargeable.
