Royal Institution Masterclasses

The Royal Institution is running a series of sessions to introduce engineering to Year 9 students (age 13-14) by running practical hands-on Engineering Masterclasses led by practising engineers from industry.

They will introduce engineering as a subject using innovative teaching techniques that make the subject accessible, including hands-on ‘make-and-build’.

DS Smith Paper engineers will be participating in the next series of Masterclasses on paper-making technology and the environment. The DS Smith Charitable Foundation has given financial support to help set up the Masterclasses.
