BLEND 42 Vodka is the first blended vodka made in the Czech Republic. Made from a blend of the best elements of traditional, Nordic and Polish style vodkas, it demanded packaging that also combined the best of many worlds.
Challenge
Develop gift packaging for the first blended vodka produced in the Czech Republic that reflects the unique character of the product. As a new entrant on the market a disruptive shelf presence was vital while decreasing material and handling costs.
Our Approach
We blended the best printing technics – offset print in combination with partial varnish to give the packaging the necessary ‘wow’ factor at the moment of truth. We also designed the packaging to reduce the needed space on shelf, to ensure availability isn’t a problem. But with this ingenious design the on-shelf advertising presence is more impressive than ever when two packs sit side by side! Costs are minimized by cleverly making the packaging and insert from a single die-cut that only needs to be glued on one end. And finally, handling is a breeze with easy assembly and smooth insertion of promotional glasses.
