'A' Listed by CDP for Climate
We are delighted to have received recognition for our leadership on climate change. Global environmental non-profit CDP has placed us on their annual 'A List' based on data reported through CDP's 2023 Climate Change questionnaire.
Out of over 21,000 companies scored, less than 2% achieved an 'A '. This represents an improvement on last year’s A- score and demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement as well as the dedication and hard work of the teams involved.
This recognition supports our position as a leader in sustainability. We’re the only major packaging company in Europe offering purely fibre-based packaging solutions, as well as being Europe's largest cardboard and paper recycler. We have a comprehensive Sustainability Strategy in place, with ambitious targets for plastic replacement and carbon reduction. Our goal is to drive the transition towards a Circular Economy.
CDP manages the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states, and regions to manage their environmental impacts. In 2023, over 740 financial institutions with over US$136 trillion in assets requested companies to disclose data on environmental impacts, risks and opportunities through CDP's platform. A record-breaking 21,000 companies responded.
