DS Smith Plastics Will Exhibit its Line of Polypropylene Printing Material at FESPA International Print Expo 14-17 May in Munich, Germany

Polypropylene printing surface materials are a durable and recyclable alternative for quality, high impact and intricate image designs.

For the first time, DS Smith Plastics will be exhibiting at FESPA Global Print Expo 2019, Europe’s largest exhibition for wide-format professional printing.

DS Smith Plastics, Extruded Products will be displaying their line of polypropylene printing materials for this market. The offering includes three distinct ‘fit-to-purpose’ type of media: AkyPlen® solid polypropylene sheets, great for horticultural labeling or industrial application; AkyPlac® twin-wall polypropylene fluted structure sheets, an economical solution for POS displays and outdoor signs; and their premium AkyPrint® and AkyLite bubble structure polypropylene sheets, a high-performance, rigid and flat printing surface for POS displays, indoor and outdoor signage.

The 3R (Return – Regrind – Reuse) subfamily of AkyPrint, AkyLite and AkyPlen sheets include a portion of their structure made of recycled materials. This provides better opacity to the sheets, thus offer a great printing impact.

The advantages shared by all three DS Smith Plastics’ products include: recyclability, durability, light weight, moisture and water resistance and the possibility to easily convert the panels into various forms and volumes. All polypropylene sheets are recyclable at the end of useful life.

During the show we will be introducing AkyPrint® Black, the newest addition to our line of polypropylene surface materials for the graphics industry.
