DS Smith Plastics Showcased its Extruded Polypropylene Twin-Wall and Solid Sheets for the Graphics Market at Igepa Belgium Open Day
This year, Igepa Belgium celebrated their forty-year anniversary and decided to host an exhibition and networking event on June 1st and 2nd at their location in Aalter, Belgium where all prominent producers and distributors of the graphic and visual communication market were invited.
As a key supplier of printing media, DS Smith Plastics featured their twin-wall and extruded polypropylene solutions AkyPrint® and AkyPlac®; and their AkyPlen® solid polypropylene sheet, for the market.
The theme of the Open Day was Kaleidoscope, to give the effect of colours coming together in the pattern of a kaleidoscope. In total there were sixty exhibitors taking part in the event, each specialized in different aspects of the graphic supply chain.
DS Smith Plastics hosted a booth sampling their two twin-wall extruded polypropylene sheets (AkyPrint and AkyPlac), and Akyplen solid flat sheet for the market. AkyPrint consists of two flat sheets connected by a bubble structure sheet and AkyPlac consisting of a fluted-structure sheet in between the two outer flat sheets.
A variety of samples of all three sub-brands were featured for their most popular applications, advantages over other printing material and their sustainable properties that makes them the ideal material for a variety of applications.
The Open Day at Igepa Belgium gave DS Smith Plastics the opportunity to meet with Igepa’s direct customers and sales force, as well as various competitors in the graphics industry.
Ds Smith Plastics’ line of printable polypropylene sheets are known for their versatility in any aspect of the graphics industry. Whether it is the use of AkyPrint as a sign in a city or AkyPlen creating a crate to print company labels on, Ds Smith Plastics’ range of printable polypropylene products make them an ideal candidate in the graphics market, and why their appearance at Igepa Belgium Open Day is so significant.
