DS Smith Plastics has tested its AkyPrint® sheets for printing on the breakthrough HP Latex R2000 Printer, the world’s first printer for rigid and flexible substrates using latex inks, delivering great results.
At Federation of European Screen Printers Association (FESPA) 2018, HP and DS Smith Plastics showcased signage printed on the HP Latex R2000 using AkyPrint® Polypropylene Sheets, validating the material. The HP Latex R2000 Printer launched at Fespa is a true hybrid printing for flexible and rigid materials up to 2.5-meters/98-inches wide and up to 5-cm/2-inches thick.

DS Smith Plastics provided white AkyPrint 5mm polypropylene sheets for the demonstration of HP’s new Latex R2000 printer. HP took the sheets and printed various colored panels, showing the quality of digital printing possible on AkyPrint with strong results.
