Download BrochureOffering the ultimate level of flexibility and versatility, DS Smith Easy Bowl ‘Hybrid’ trays are pre-erected and skinned with an inner plastic film to enable suitability for Modified Atmosphere Packaging applications. The inner skin is easy to separate from the corrugated tray to provide a fully recyclable solution where infrastructure is available. The innovative double rim provides extra stability in the traysealer and can easily adapt its shape to fit with existing customer tooling.

Our ‘rectangular’ family member of DS Smith Easy Bowl is also pre-erected and skinned with an inner plastic film (for MAP application), and has an inner skin that is easy to separate from the corrugated tray to provide a fully recyclable solution where infrastructure is available. The rectangular version can be adapted in size to suit existing customer tooling.

How we helped endori get started with DS Smith Easy Bowl
German plant-based food manufacturer endori grew in just a few years from a German food start-up to a successful player in the plant-based food alternatives market.
To support their brand positioning they wanted to replace their existing plastic food containers with a more sustainable option, but without compromising their product quality. The solution needed to meet food safety requirements and also be easy to implement and run in their factories.
Our Easy Bowl concept, developed in partnership with MULTIVAC, was the ideal solution. It keeps food fresh from factory to fridge and embraces the company’s vision of “making the world a bite better”.
