Increased turnover for Othmar brewery thanks to luxury printed beer packaging
Othmar Brewery started out as a small brewery, founded by two brother-in-laws. They have now grown into a beautiful brewery with over 15 different types of beers, including seasonal and fixed beers. The brewer offers various specialty beers in luxury printed gift boxes for 5 longneck beer bottles.
Available at breweries, local supermarkets and liquor stores
Previously, the beers were mostly only available in the Twente region, but thanks to their great success, they are now also available in Drenthe, Gelderland and a large part of Overijssel. The beer packaging is popular with visitors, local supermarkets and liquor stores. Othmar Brewery is extremely proud of the sales and demand for it's products.
Sales are now going very well, especially because the gift boxes lower the threshold for carrying a set of beers.
Gift box for 5 beer bottles
The luxury printed beer packages contain information about the brewery and have an open window so you can see the bottles. The contents vary from summer to winter beers and a lot of attention was paid to the coppery color of the kettles, which should be more visible on the packaging.
The print is based on three colors of flexo printing and is entirely made of water-based ink. The DS Smith employees have made every effort to achieve a fine-grained print.
Re-use of cardboard packaging
The packaging is made of corrugated cardboard, is fully recyclable after use, and can easily be reused.
