SCA Packaging new website

SCA Packaging’s external web site has a new “look and feel” from today. The web project group had one ambition: “to create an appealing, brand selling, interactive tool for the market, presenting a complete range of attractive and appropriate material neutral packaging products and services showing our inspiring character.”

Our website receives a massive amount of visitors per month and is one of our most important communication channels. The new design and content is targeted to a wider range of stakeholders: new and returning customers, prospects, press, media, (potential) employees, students,…

Appealing
Within the frame of a logical, clear and accessible structure, the site design is inviting and triggers interest to explore further. By integrating new media such as video and flash, we aimed to look professional and appealing.

Brand selling
The website clearly and directly reflects the brandessence “be seen, be moved, be secure”. Of course all our communication material needs to be aligned, that is why we decided to use similar images and styles.

Complete range of material neutral packaging & services
“Our new website shows our capabilities as a full service packaging provider. Especially with our product pages, we demonstrate all our capabilities and we invite our customers to actively look for solutions they are interested in.” says Stijn De Wit, Web Coordinator and Project Leader.

Inspiring and interactive
When surfing the web, people genuinely are looking for answers. They don’t actually expect answers to every question they have, but use the web as a first point of contact: ‘you only get one chance to make a first impression.’ “Our new website is an important next step in the sales & marketing transformation. Together with the new brochures and company presentation, we now have a strong communication platform from which we can create an activemedia relations strategy, positioning SCA packaging as a full service packaging provider”, according to Patrick Verhelst, Marketing Director Europe.

SCA Packaging’s website has been the Business Group pilot project after the launch of the SCA Group site www.sca.com earlier this year. Further rollout within Packaging will be done during the rest of the year.

The whole project had the support of an entire web core group with delegates from all over Europe. It goes without saying that this project would not have been successful without all their support. So special thanks to:
