DS Smith Recycling appoints Managing Director of Italy, Spain and France

In September 2017, DS Smith Recycling appointed Federico Dossena to the role of Managing Director for Italy, Spain & France. Reporting into Jochen Behr, Head of Recycling, Mr Dossena will be based in Milan.

Mr Dossena joins DS Smith from previous experience with UPM, where he held several positions before performing the role of Head of Direct Sourcing Recycled Paper Purchase Europe. He brings strong international experience to the business from extensive work in Germany and Finland.

Since September, Mr Dossena has worked with teams in Spain and France to accelerate our growth in those regions.

Giovanni Malloggi, Managing Director of Italy, has announced his retirement after 42 years in the Paper and Recycling industry. From November, he will work with Mr Dossena to hand over the reins of the Italian business.
