SCA Speciality Products creates Veuve Clicquot ‘Comet’

Veuve Clicquot, the champagne brand and the world renowned British designer Tom Dixon, in collaboration with SCA Speciality Products, has created the Veuve Clicquot ‘Comet’.

Inspired by the champagnes comet logo, the ‘Comet’ is a reinterpretation of the summer gazebo as designed by Tom Dixon. It is made from type N E corrugated board in a 2 colour print and is 100% recyclable. A total of 9 comet sets were manufactured by SCA Speciality Products.

Veuve Clicquot approached SCA Speciality Products in June this year with the challenge of making a Tom Dixon vision a reality.  After an exhaustive month of development, SCA rose to the challenge and delivered 9 ‘Comets’ in time for the finals of the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup Polo Tournament, which took place on the 19th July.

The ‘Comet’ gazebo’s were needed for the final of the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup and continues their mission to innovate and re-energise the event through cutting edge design collaborations.
