With a new generation of displays and packaging, DS Smith shows how brands can present themselves profitably online and offline in the future.  When developing innovations, the display and packaging strategists of DS Smith always consider the entire supply cycle, according to Röhrle. They also take into account current market trends. “The result is a solution perfectly tailored to the requirements of the customer creating real added value”, says the marketing specialist.

The display and packaging solutions which were awarded two times with the Corrugated Cardboard Innovation Award (Innovationspreis Wellpappe) in gold at the FachPack also bear testament to this fact. Hengstenberg display: “Finest German Food Since 1876.”

- Gold-Winner of the Corrugated Cardboard Innovation Award 2018 –

Barbecues are legendary. The sauces, toppings and mustard variations of the new “Hengstenberg 1876” product line really upgrade the taste of steak, fish, burgers, etc. An equally flexible as eye-catching promotional display perfectly stages the new range of the Essling-based traditional company. The new Hengstenberg products are the sole stars of the displays developed by DS Smith. Both the unobtrusive colours and design as well as the open arrangement draw the gaze of every barbecue fan completely to the presented sauces, mustards and toppings, and encourage shoppers to spontaneously try them at the next barbecue.

The clever design of DS Smith consists of only five components. It is quick and easy to put together and still stable enough to support the weight of a total of 96 sauces and mustards glasses à 250 ml. Equipping is as easy as the setup for Hengstenberg. The products of a total of nine different flavours are simply placed in the racking system including the tray. This not only opens up a wide range of flexibility in terms of arrangement. There is also no need for the usual and laborious repacking of the goods during packing. The variable display proves stability during transport and on the floor both on CHEP quarter pallets and wooden pallets as used in export.
