SCA Packaging Nicollet wins two prestigious awards at Luxe Pack

First prize in the "Luxury Box" category, second prize is for the Jury's "favourite Award" ... Le prix "Coup de Coeur".

SCA Packaging Nicollet was singled out as one of the leading suppliers of 2010 at the luxury packaging fair Luxe Pack, which took place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco from October 20 to 21, 2010.

Like every year at Luxe Pack, readers of Formes de Luxe magazine voted for the year’s most outstanding packaging and innovations. The award ceremony, held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, was attended by leading figures from the luxury packaging sector, active in the perfumes & cosmetics, wines & spirits and fine foods segments.

For the fourth consecutive year, SCA Packaging won the Formes de Luxe award in the folding box category. This year’s winning product was the Moët & Chandon Fresh Pack, following on from three previous wins with Rémy Martin cognac (2007), Perrier-Jouët champagne (2008) and Veuve Clicquot champagne (2009).

SCA Packaging’s Fresh Pack also won the “Coup de Coeur” award, going to the winning innovation that most impressed the panel.

We were represented at the award ceremony by Jean-Charles Moras, Key Account Manager, who spoke about the expertise of our Design Centre and its original 4-step design process.

His contribution was enthusiastically supported by Moët & Chandon’s Packaging Development Manager Patrice Baraud, who was full of praise for our company: “SCA Packaging Nicollet’s strong point is innovation. The 4-step process at the Design Centre is a genuine applied research: when the teams from SCA propose a project to us, we know that it is feasible industrially.  For us, that saves time.  We can go faster in development in order to better satisfy our customers”.

In order to optimize the visibility offered by this award, a 2-page article was published in the magazine Formes de Luxe, distributed on the exhibition.  Going back over the Fresh Pack success story following the 4-step process of our Design Centre, this article brings to light the effectiveness and originality of our way of working which puts the customer in the heart of the creative steps.
