On 27th and 28th June, DS Smith will be attending one of Europe’s leading events for e-commerce, #Deliver 2. Held in Berlin, we will join 450 other industry leaders from more than 50 countries.

Building on last year’s wildly successful inauguration, this year’s event will see inspiring keynote speakers, retail champions and policy makers discuss the latest developments and future trends of the industry, such as omnichannel activation, warehouse automation, driverless vehicles and sustainability.

DS Smith believes a strategic approach to omnichannel is central to success in the e-commerce space, which is why we will be hosting a workshop on this very subject. Titled “E-commerce – the road to extinction?”, the workshop will enable discussions on best practice.

This workshop will cover why omnichannel is the only channel retailers should be preparing for, and how strategic action now will ensure they are ready for the future and able to tap into the predicted rise of e-commerce sales to $4.1 trillion by 2020.

DS Smith’s Head of E-Commerce Solutions Isabel Rocher will be leading the workshop discussion, raising questions around the key challenges and opportunities facing e-retailers. Isabel joined DS Smith in November 2016, bringing with her 15 years of experience in packaging, sales and marketing.
