SalesFront® to the fore in The Age of Fibre

SalesFront® has revolutionised the way products can be displayed on store shelves and has increased sales for numerous brands across Europe. After three years of testing and development by DS Smith it is rewarding to see recognition of this revolutionary packaging, not just from our delighted customers, but from our peers too.

CEPI, the Confederation of European Paper Industries, recently featured SalesFront® in its publication, “The Age of Fibre” which looks at the pulp and paper industry’s most innovative products.

The following passage is taken from “The Age of Fibre” and does an excellent job of explaining why SalesFront® manages to appeal to so many different groups involved in the retail world:

“For the brand owner, the packaging’s features include product visibility as well as easy access. For the shopper, their shopping experience is enhanced. For the retailer, it improves in-store execution and for the supplier, it improves in-store visibility, brand experience and sales performance.”

The article goes on to explain that the heart of the innovative SalesFront® pack incorporates a specially engineered band into a retail-ready corrugated pack (RRP), which smoothly moves the contents forward as each item is sold.

The Age of Fibre is part of CEPI’s ongoing 2050 Forest Fibre Industry Roadmap. Launched in November 2011 this ground-breaking programme defines how the pulp and paper industry can decarbonise by 80% and at the same time create 50% more value.
