Resources & Waste Strategy Unwrapped Conference
Peter Clayson, Head of Government & Community Affairs at DS Smith, will be speaking at the Resources & Waste Strategy Unwrapped Conference on 13th February 2019.
Following the publication of the UK Government’s Resources and Waste Strategy for England, the Resources & Waste Strategy Unwrapped conference, organised by the Environment Media Group, will explore the Strategy’s aims, as well as its consultation documents, with the aim of helping delegates to direct their answers to the consultations.
Peter Clayson, Head of Government & Community Affairs at DS Smith, will be speaking on a panel titled ‘The Defra Consultation on Deposit Return Systems’. It seeks to answer the questions:
- How does the DRS consultation fit with packaging EPR reforms and consistency?
- What impacts on collecting plastics, metals, and glass differently?
- How else could councils and recyclers be impacted?
Peter has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, including 12 years at DS Smith, and is a Chartered Waste Manager.
The conference will take place on 13th February 2019, 9am-5pm at the Congress Centre, 28 Great Russell Street, London.
