DS Smith brings Glazing Vision’s brand into the light while lowering costs

Glazing Vision are at the cutting edge of rooflight design and manufacture, a position they maintain by invest heavily in new technologies, equipment and expertise. This relentless desire to improve led to them approaching DS Smith to improve the packaging their high tech and highly breakable products.

Challenge

Glazing Vision thought they could improve their standing with customers by prioritising how their product looks when it arrives for installation. In a competitive marketplace every incremental improvement is important and they wanted DS Smith to design packaging that protected and looked good doing so.

Our Approach

The first step was a blue sky approach with open ideas to see the limits of our collective imaginations. From there we collaborated closely to understand how we could combine Glazing Visions engineering skills with DS Smith design and get the best from corrugated cardboard and further develop ideas. Eventually, we developed a combined and innovative solution that met the brief.
