Corrugated pallets are a unique alternative to heavier wood pallets for the pharmaceutical industry.
For the efficient and safe transport of pharmaceutical and medical products, corrugated pallets are designed for a range of applications.
DS Smith's corrugated pallets meet all OHSAS regulations and are exempt from ISPM15 and international shipping regulations. This means pharmaceutical products spend less time in customs.
In addition, shipments using corrugated pallets can be accepted where wood pallets cannot, for example in pharmaceutical plants.
DS Smith's corrugated pallets provide a cleaner, greener, more cost effective and lighter alternative to traditional wooden pallets.

Kaypal® Klip
This is a grouping packaging solution which would improve the ergonomics of order preparation. This facilitating box is easy to assembly for operators. It is an alternative to wooden pallet, due to the difficulty of recycling by the final customer (pharmacies and shops).

PaPillOn pallets
DS Smith PaPillOn is made of 100% recycled paper, converted into a special shape that is a unique innovation in the industry. Only eco-friendly materials are used in production.
All products made using DS Smith PaPillOn are free from moisture, dust, and dirt. They do not contain any infectious organisms, therefore there is no need to heat treat them, to check moisture content or worry about air humidity or storage conditions.* (*- humidity over 95% RH may be critical to any paper based material)
As strong as wood, DS Smith PaPillOn can carry loads of up to 1000 kilograms and is the strongest paper pallet on the market. This is achieved in part with the top deck, which helps to protect and stabilise goods when stacked.
