Christmas packaging by DS Smith for the Advent campaign

Many families cannot afford to surprise their children with a small present at Christmas. The 'Children make presents to children' campaign by the Fuldaer Zeitung and the Fuldaer und Hünfelder Tafel wants to change this and is therefore currently collecting presents for children. To ensure the presents look Christmassy, of course they also need nice packaging. That is why DS Smith has made 300 items of Christmas packaging available.

"Christmas is the time for sharing with others and children, in particular, need our support. That's why the 'Children make presents to children' campaign is so great," says Anja Röhrle, Marketing Manager at DS Smith. The company, which has a site with around 300 employees at Bellingerstraße near by the Fuldaer Tafel, has already supported the campaign with Christmas packaging several times.

"Nice packaging is quite simply a part of a Christmas present," says Röhrle. The donated new and as good as new toys are not only stored in the roughly 300 carefully printed items of packaging, refined with imprinting and a finish, for a short period to be given as presents, they are also ideally suited for the storage of everything that is near and dear.

"We hope that the campaign is a great success and that enough donations are made to bring some joy this Christmas to every child in need," says Röhrle. Heinz Steege, 1st chairman of the Fuldaer Tafel, is very thankful for the donation that is both beautiful and useful. "This allows us to securely, simply and quickly package the toys in a pretty fashion," says Steege and hopes that many more toys will be donated.
