DS Smith rounds up supporters of a circular economy
DS Smith is lobbying industry across the supply chain to make the most of next month’s Resource event on 4th & 6th of March 2014 in ExCel, London as part of a concerted effort to support the circular economy.
It has been estimated that a renewed focus on recovering and reusing discarded materials could boost UK GDP by £3bn, while generating 50,000 new jobs. The Ellen MacArthur Foundation has also forecast that scaling this up globally could yield more than $1trillion in annual materials savings.
In a bid to promote practical measures that the entire supply chain can adopt as part of a circular economy, DS Smith has partnered with the organisers of Resource who are hosting a workshop programme comprising 12 sessions over three days.

The conference at London’s ExCel Arena will run from the 4th to the 6th March and is targeting a comprehensive delegate and speaker portfolio representing all sectors of global supply cycles.
