Relevant trends for the confectionery industry

From 19 to 21 November, under the slogan "Attractive Confectionery for More Complex Environments", the 15th International Sweets Business Forum took place in Berlin with around 550 participants. DS Smith was on site as one of the sponsors of the forum.

The top-class speakers of the Sweets Business Forum seized upon relevant trends and current topics. Questions such as "Are individualisation and personalisation a fad or a trend in society?", "What ideas and initiatives can efficiently stimulate the point of sale?" and "Is relationship marketing the answer to changes in consumer behaviour?" were the focal point of the two-day-long forum.
