DS Smith runners from across Europe converge for Acerta Brussels Ekiden relay marathon

For the second year in a row DS Smith will be participating in the Acerta Brussels Ekiden relay marathon.

As DS Smith has grown so too has our presence and this year we will have an incredible 10 teams totaling 60 runners from around Europe! We will be running for an incredible cause too as the money we raise will go to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).

So far we’ve organised bake sales, book sales and with the help of some of our more creative colleagues we are also going to auction off some of these adorable corrugated sheep!

Each of the team has six members. Three people from each team will run five kilometres, two will run 10 kilometres, and one person will run just over seven kilometres – making a combined team run of 42.2 kilometres.
