Miles Roberts – Keynote Speaker at FEFCO Conference

Miles Roberts, CEO, DS Smith plc, was a keynote speaker at the annual conference of European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers (FEFCO) held in London in early June, with the conference being attended by representatives from all the major corrugated manufacturers from around the world.

The key theme of Miles Roberts' speech was "Leading by Listening", which built on our work with customers done prior to the repositioning of our brand in November 2013. The distinction was made between what customers want and what the industry has historically offered, with the industry described as one that customers do not currently value as a leader

Miles Roberts commented: "Customers are looking for leadership, which provides an opportunity. What they keep telling us is they want simplicity. That's why at DS Smith we talk about lightening the load for our customers."
